Occupational Health and Safety Policy

It is the policy of Sanofi Pasteur Limited to provide and maintain its facility operations in a manner that protects the health and safety of its employees in compliance with all health and safety legislation, and to continue to improve workplace health and safety by developing and monitoring programs aimed at the prevention and reduction of accidents. Our Commitment to health and safety has earned our site OHSAS 18001 certification. OHSAS 18001 is a global standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

Environmental Policy

It is the policy of Sanofi Pasteur Limited to operate and maintain our facilities in compliance with applicable environmental legislation, regulations, and other requirements to which we subscribe, and to prevent pollution, protect the environment, and conserve energy and natural resources in order to achieve sustainable development for the benefits of present and future generations.  Our commitment is demonstrated through our ISO 14001 certification.  ISO 14001 is a global standard for Environmental Management Systems.

Report on Toxic Substance Reduction Plans

In 2009, the Government of Ontario passed legislation known as the Toxics Reduction Act, 2009. The purpose of this legislation is “to prevent pollution and protect human health and the environment by reducing the use and creation of toxic substances.” (Section 1(a) of the Toxics Reduction Act, 2009).
