Making a Difference in our Community
Through our flagship program, the Sanofi-Aventis BioTalent Challenge, we nurture interest in biotechnology and challenge young people to explore their potential. Since 1994, this annual high school science competition has raised awareness of biotechnology and its applications in health care, agriculture and the environment.
The United Way: For more than 10-years, our sponsorship of the United Way has allowed us to reach a broad range of social service agencies and make a difference on many levels.
Our employees drive additional efforts and sanofi pasteur matches their donations dollar-for-dollar. We've raised more than $780,000 to date. The United Way Campaigns run for two weeks from late September to October.
Run for the Cure: Sanofi pasteur employees support the annual CIBC Run for the Cure in Toronto. Every year, a dedicated team of our employees and their families participate in this event to raise money for cancer research.
Health Partners International of Canada: We believe in the importance of global health and improving the quality of life for everyone. Our strongest global initiative is our partnership with Health Partners International (HPIC). Through our alliance with HPIC, we donate millions of dollars worth of products to aid communities around the globe.
Visions of Science: Sanofi pasteur is a founding sponsor of Visions of Science. Initiated by employees who volunteer their time, this annual event encourages black youth in the greater Toronto area to pursue careers in science and technology.
